Logan Lee was born and raised in rural Missouri, in a small town called Platte City. Surrounded by open sky and swaths of land, he had ample opportunity to observe the movement of the sun and reflect on the passage of time.

Logan received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University. He didn’t begin making art until 2019, when he suffered a broken ankle, and found himself with too much time on his hands. A moment of boredom and a case of colored pencils later (he had bought it months earlier on a whim), he was transported to a new world of color. He has been creating artwork ever since.

He started out depicting landscapes, with a focus on composition and shape, but soon his work transformed into psychedelic swirls of color, as he employed impulse and pure expression.

Logan’s creative approach developed further when, in 2022, he began to work at Nougatine, a restaurant on Columbus Circle whose dining room was so gorgeous, and the creative vision so skillfully executed, that it altered the way he made art. Since then, he has been interested in how art and architecture work together, and has dedicated himself to a higher standard for his work.

Logan has now fully chosen art as a life path. He lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and works at a restaurant on the Upper East Side. As of now he has created 8 pieces in what is to be a collection of 20.
